Trusted sprinkler repair in Morrisville, NC

Sprinkler repair means finding the exact reason a Morrisville system isn’t watering right — a snapped head, a dead valve, a clogged nozzle — and fixing it so every zone throws even again. We’re the local crew who repairs sprinkler systems across Morrisville, from Breckenridge to Kitts Creek, and we know how these flat RTP-corridor lots behave.

Morrisville is different from its neighbors in one important way: the Town’s water is provided by the Town of Cary, so Cary’s alternate-day watering schedule and backflow rules apply here. Parts of Morrisville also run on Cary’s reclaimed water. Add in the flat, RTP-area lots and newer builder systems, and sprinkler work in Morrisville has its own quirks we know well.

We serve homeowners throughout Morrisville — including Breckenridge, Kitts Creek, Preston Village, and Savannah — and the surrounding Wake County area, and we’ve handled sprinkler repair across the town for over a decade.

Morrisville’s flat Breckenridge and Kitts Creek lots hold water, so the repair we’re called for most is heads that pool and flood a low corner rather than dry out. Re-leveling those heads and matching nozzles across the zone stops the soggy patch without starving the rest of the lawn.

Common sprinkler repair problems we fix in Morrisville

Big or small, we fix it right the first time with genuine Hunter, Rain Bird & Toro parts.

Broken & snapped heads

Mowers, foot traffic, and edging crack sprinkler heads off at the riser, and on Morrisville’s newer builder lots the heads often sit a hair too high to begin with. We swap in a matched replacement and set it flush so it survives the next mowing.

Misaimed & sunken heads

Heads drift out of aim or sink into the soft, low-lying soil until they spray the fence or the driveway instead of the lawn. Re-leveling and re-aiming a sunken head is one of the most common sprinkler repair calls we get in Preston Village and Savannah.

Clogged & stuck nozzles

Grit and mineral buildup plug nozzles, and the reclaimed water some Morrisville areas run on clogs them faster than potable does. We pull the screens, clear or replace the nozzles, and check that each one still matches the zone’s precip rate.

Dry spots & uneven coverage

A brown patch usually means a head isn’t reaching it — wrong nozzle, low pressure, or a gap the builder left in the original layout. We measure the coverage, adjust throw and arc, and fill the hole so the whole zone waters at one rate.

Leaking heads & seals

Worn seals let heads weep between cycles, and on Morrisville’s flat Breckenridge and Kitts Creek lots that water pools in the low corner and floods it. Re-leveling the head and replacing the seal stops the soggy patch without drying out the rest of the yard.

High-efficiency nozzle upgrades

Older fixed spray nozzles dump water fast, which is rough on Cary’s alternate-day schedule Morrisville has to follow. Upgrading to high-efficiency nozzles lowers the precip rate, cuts runoff on flat ground, and lets a zone soak in instead of running off.

Who needs sprinkler repair in Morrisville?

All kinds of Morrisville homeowners end up needing sprinkler repair, from brand-new subdivision owners to folks whose systems have been in the ground for fifteen years. Here’s who calls us most.

Homeowners with a brown patch

You water on schedule but one stretch of lawn stays brown while another corner floods. That’s almost always a coverage or head problem, and it’s the most common sprinkler repair we handle in Morrisville.

Longtime owners, aging systems

After a decade or more, valves stick, seals wear, and nozzles clog — especially on reclaimed-water zones. We repair the failing parts and bring an older system back to even coverage without a full replacement.

New-construction owners

Morrisville’s newer subdivisions often ship with builder-grade layouts that leave coverage gaps or set heads too high. We tune those systems, correct the aim, and fix what the installer rushed.

HOAs & property managers

Common areas and rental lots need repairs done right and documented, including backflow testing on Cary’s cycle. We handle the fix, the paperwork, and the filing so the property stays compliant.

Signs you need sprinkler repair in Morrisville

If you notice any of these, it’s time for a look:

  • A brown or dry patch that won’t green up no matter how long you water
  • One low corner in Breckenridge or Kitts Creek that stays soggy
  • A head that sprays the sidewalk, fence, or street instead of the grass
  • A zone that mists, fogs, or barely dribbles when it should be spraying
  • A geyser or broken head fountaining water during a cycle
  • A whole zone that won’t come on while the others run fine

What Morrisville’s water rules mean for your sprinkler repair

Morrisville isn’t like the rest of the Triangle, and we work to what makes it different.

What Morrisville homeowners should know

  • On the Town of Cary’s water: Morrisville’s water is provided by the Town of Cary, so Cary’s watering schedule and backflow rules apply. We set everything to match.
  • Alternate-day & reclaimed: Potable systems follow Cary’s alternate-day schedule; some Morrisville areas run on reclaimed water and are exempt. Reclaimed clogs nozzles faster.
  • Backflow (Cary rules): Backflow required on a three-year residential cycle (annual with a booster pump or chemical feed). We test, repair, and file.
  • Newer builder systems: Morrisville’s newer subdivisions often have builder-grade layouts with coverage gaps we tune and correct.

I’m so glad I found Cary Sprinklers! Adam, the owner, is incredibly friendly, honest, and straightforward. He found several problems with our sprinkler system and was able to fix them for a very reasonable price. We had other companies come out who tried to upsell us on repairs costing thousands of dollars, so the difference was unbelievable. I have some experience in this field myself, so I know how to evaluate vendors and recognize when someone is being honest and when they’re simply trying to sell you more work. Adam was clearly focused on actually solving the problems rather than taking advantage of us. He saved us a tremendous amount of money, and we really appreciate it. Thank you so much, Adam, for your honesty, professionalism, and excellent work. Highly recommended!

This is the second time we have used Cary Sprinklers, and both times involved dirty digging and repairing complex leaks. The first was an underground valve leak and they put the dirt and our sod back as if it was their own home. The site around our second job by our backflow was also filled in nicely. Adam the owner, Matt the estimator, and Colby the irrigation magician were all great to work with. We think our irrigation in our box came apart when TOC main busted and the extreme pressure of 200+ psi was too much. Matt did a thorough job looking at our issue, answering all my questions about the possible TOC main break playing a part, and giving quote for the time he felt it would take. Keep in mind, this is the type of small business where you need to be flexible on the time of arrival since prior jobs may put them behind. With this said, the crew will spend all the time needed to repair the issue you have at your home and not rush to make things just good enough. They want to make sure the repair is done to your satisfaction. I texted Adam several times and he had a prompt response time. He was also prompt via email with a post work invoice question. We recommend supporting Cary Sprinklers for the reasons above and because this is a small business growing roots in our community.

Adam and Gerald showed up right on time and kept me updated with texts the night before and the day of with their ETA. I needed a new zone added for part of the yard that wasn’t getting enough water anymore, and they did a great job. Fair pricing, excellent communication, and very professional — I’m really happy with the result.

5 stars — Highly recommend Cary Sprinklers! We hired Cary Sprinklers to expand our existing irrigation system by extending one zone and adding a completely new zone. From the beginning, they were professional, knowledgeable, and very easy to work with. What really impressed us was the equipment and efficiency. They used a Toro Dingo to trench the new lines, which allowed them to get the work done quickly and professionally while keeping the disruption to our yard to a minimum. The crew clearly knew what they were doing, and the installation was done right. Adam took the time to explain what we needed and why, and the communication throughout the project was excellent. The new zones give us much better coverage of the property, and everything is working exactly as it should. We couldn’t be happier with the finished system. The whole process was smooth, and the work exceeded our expectations. We would definitely use Cary Sprinklers again.

Cary Sprinklers is amazing. Adam is professional, capable, and wonderful to do business with. We called him because we had trouble with our timer app and controller. It wasn’t a brand that he usually works with, but he figured it out and fixed it anyway. Additionally, his team did an amazing job removing this massive root to get a broken sprinkler out of the ground and replace it and even under budget! I’ve done business with a few sprinkler companies in my lifetime, and these guys are the best!! They are honest, reliable, and very detail oriented. You will not be sorry if you call Cary Sprinklers.

How our sprinkler repair works

No mystery, no runaround — here’s the order we work in.

Run the system with you

We turn on each zone and walk it with you so you see exactly what we see — the head that’s off, the dry stretch, the pooling corner. Nothing gets guessed at from the driveway.

Diagnose the real cause

We trace the problem to its source, whether that’s a bad solenoid, a cut wire, low pressure, or a nozzle mismatch. Finding the real cause is what keeps the same repair from coming back next month.

Quote before we work

You get a clear price on the fix before we touch a wrench, and we explain what’s worn versus what’s optional. No surprise line items after the fact.

Fix, test & reprogram

We make the repair with genuine parts, run the zone again to confirm even coverage, and set the controller to match Cary’s alternate-day schedule and backflow rules for your Morrisville address.

What sets a professional sprinkler repair team apart in Morrisville

Good sprinkler repair starts with diagnosis, not parts swapping — a soggy corner in Kitts Creek and a dry patch in Savannah can trace back to completely different causes. We run the whole system, measure pressure and coverage, and find the head or valve that’s actually failing before we quote anything. We stock genuine Hunter, Rain Bird, Toro, Irritrol, and Rachio parts, so your repair matches the system you already own instead of a mismatched off-brand piece. Local knowledge matters here too: because Morrisville runs on the Town of Cary’s water, we set every controller to Cary’s alternate-day schedule and know the three-year backflow cycle without having to look it up. That combination — real diagnosis, real parts, and knowing how these flat builder-grade lots behave — is what a professional crew brings that a quick patch never will.

How long does sprinkler repair take in Morrisville?

Most sprinkler repair in Morrisville is done in a single visit — a broken head, a clogged nozzle, or a stuck valve is usually diagnosed and fixed the same afternoon we’re out. If you’re searching for sprinkler repair near me and need it handled fast, that’s the kind of work we knock out on the spot. Bigger jobs, like re-leveling a whole zone of sunken heads across a Breckenridge lot or tracing a buried wire fault, take longer, and we quote those upfront so there’s no open-ended clock. Reclaimed-water zones sometimes need extra nozzle cleaning, which we build into the visit. Either way, you’ll know before we start whether it’s a same-visit fix or a scheduled return.

How much does sprinkler repair cost in Morrisville?

Sprinkler repair cost in Morrisville depends on the problem — a single nozzle is a small fix, while a failed valve, a wire fault, or a zone full of sunken heads runs more. We price every repair upfront so you approve it before any work happens, and we don’t pad the bill with parts you don’t need. Genuine Hunter, Rain Bird, and Toro components cost a little more than generic, but they last and they match your system. The estimate is free, whether it turns into a five-minute fix or a full zone tune-up. Call or text Adam at 919-341-9644 and we’ll get you a straight number.

How to choose a sprinkler repair company in Morrisville

Choosing a sprinkler repair company in Morrisville comes down to a few honest questions. Ask whether they’re fully insured, whether they use genuine manufacturer parts or whatever’s on the truck, and whether they know that Morrisville follows the Town of Cary’s watering schedule and backflow rules. Ask what happens if the repair doesn’t hold — we back our work with a 12-month workmanship warranty and a 100% satisfaction guarantee. A local crew that has spent ten-plus years on these RTP-corridor lots will diagnose faster and won’t leave you with the same problem in a month. Hire the team that runs the system with you and explains the fix, not the one that quotes over the phone sight unseen.

Serving Morrisville neighborhoods

Neighborhoods like Breckenridge, Kitts Creek, and Preston Village make up a lot of our Morrisville work — newer, densely-built subdivisions where builder-grade systems left coverage gaps and shared zones. The flat, low-lying lots near Lake Crabtree and the RTP corridor also mean pressure and drainage both matter. We know how Morrisville is plumbed. For the full picture of what we offer around town, see our Morrisville, NC services page.

Morrisville sitting on Cary’s water means every sprinkler repair here also has to respect Cary’s alternate-day schedule and backflow cycle — homeowners are often surprised their Morrisville address follows Cary’s rules. On the flat RTP-corridor lots we also grade head heights so water throws evenly instead of pooling in the low spots.

If it’s a bigger issue than a broken head — a dead zone, a stuck valve, or a controller fault — that’s system-level work; see our irrigation repair in Morrisville. For everything else across town, start at our sprinkler repair hub.

Some jobs deserve their own deep dive — see our pages on sprinkler pipe repair, a zone that won’t come on, hidden leak detection for the full detail on how we handle each across Morrisville.

Morrisville sprinkler repair FAQ

How much does sprinkler repair cost in Morrisville?

It depends on the problem — a clogged nozzle is a small fix, while a failed valve or a zone of sunken heads costs more. We give you a free estimate and an upfront price before any work starts, so you always approve the number first.

What sprinkler brands and parts do you repair?

We work on all major systems and stock genuine Hunter, Rain Bird, Toro, Irritrol, and Rachio parts. Matching the right manufacturer part to your existing system is what makes a repair last instead of failing again in a few months.

Does Morrisville really follow the Town of Cary’s watering rules?

Yes — Morrisville’s water is provided by the Town of Cary, so Cary’s alternate-day schedule and backflow rules apply to your address. It surprises a lot of homeowners, and we set your controller to match those rules with every repair.

Why does one corner of my yard stay soggy?

On Morrisville’s flat Breckenridge and Kitts Creek lots, water pools in the low spots, and a leaking or too-high head floods that corner. We re-level the head and match nozzles across the zone so the soggy patch drains without starving the rest of the lawn.

Do I need a backflow test with my repair?

On Cary’s rules, residential backflow is required on a three-year cycle — annually if you run a booster pump or chemical feed. We test, repair, and file the paperwork, so we can handle it right along with your sprinkler repair.

Whose water rules apply in Morrisville, and how does that affect my system?

Morrisville is served by the Town of Cary’s water system, so Cary’s alternate-day watering schedule and backflow rules apply here. Some areas run on reclaimed water and are exempt from the schedule. We set your controller and handle backflow to match Cary’s requirements.
